Tips & Tricks for Installing Triple Wide Sundecks

The Arch Technique

This video demonstrates the Arch Technique, a simple method used during installation to help guide a Triple Wide Sundeck into position. By creating a temporary arch using straps, C-clamps, and a 2×4, you can keep the sundeck aligned and rolling in straight while installing your Roll-In V-Dock system. This technique provides added control, helping maintain proper alignment throughout the installation process.

The Post and Strap Technique

This video demonstrates how to reposition a dock that is not perfectly straight using the Post Technique, without needing to enter the water. By using a post and a strap, you can make controlled adjustments to the section and bring your dock back into proper alignment.

The V-Dock Shore Wheel Companion

This video showcases the strength and simplicity of a V-Dock system using our Shore Wheel Companion. One person is all it takes to remove a full 98′ V-Dock featuring a 12′ × 12′ Sundeck — no extra help required. Designed for easy handling, V-Dock systems give homeowners the confidence to manage even larger setups. The Shore Wheel Companion can also be used to guide the dock back into the water when needed.

Note: The Arch Technique was used to help keep the sundeck straight and properly aligned during dock removal.
